The most beautiful stage I've ever seen

Harpist Katherine Tay performing with her harp at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

Last week, I had the chance to perform on one of the most beautiful stages I’ve ever seen.

Tucked away in a corner of MBS, therein lies the MBS Hybrid Studio, with a stage completely wrapped in LED screens that spans across walls and floor. As I performed, a mystical forest stretched behind me, brought to life by moving foliage and fluttering butterflies. Beneath me, a pond rippled outward where I played the harp.

To be honest, the experience was slightly trippy as the backdrop moved alongside the vibrating strings of my harp. But as the performance went on, I got used to it, and channeled my focus into delivering a performance the stage deserved.

The evening was a surreal experience. Thank you MBS for the invitation to perform there.
